Order Subtotals: A Plus for Customer Service

Would you like to better service your corporate or large-group customers? It's easy with Phoenix POS' order subtotal feature, which groups items by individual person, calculates individual sales tax, and divides delivery fees by number of people ordering.

You can print individual tickets for each person that lists their order and amount owed. Place each ticket with the person's order for service and convenience. A master ticket provides individual ordering information and the total amount owed. Everyone will know exactly what they owe, every time.

So market your restaurant to corporate clients. With Phoenix POS, you'll deliver not only great food but quality service that your customers will appreciate.

To activate the subtotals feature, go to Manager Home - Configuration - General - Store Setup and check the "Enable subtotals on tickets" check box. Then go to Printers - Printer Ticket and check the "Print individual receipts for subtotal orders" box if you want separate tickets to print. Optionally, the "Print nothing to prepare" option will print a "blank" ticket for any printer which does not have items ordered on that subtotal.

To place an order with subtotals, order your first item(s). Then touch the "Subtotal" button below the virtual ticket. Enter the first customer name. Then order the next items and repeat the process. To add items to a previously entered subtotal group, select an item within that group and then press "Next", then add the new item. Press "Subtotal" to start a new group. Then you can finish the order as usual.
