"Phoenix POS Works Beautifully."

Virtual Ticket, Real Ease-of-Use

"Phoenix is intuitive. It keeps orders accurate. We always read orders back to customers, and the virtual ticket option makes that easier.

"Phoenix is a great visual system that immediately displays what is on or not on an order. When you press the combo pizza button, for example, all the toppings that are on the combo light up. Then, if you want to remove pepperoni from a combo order, you just hit the pepperoni button. Phoenix even lets us take off the cost of pepperoni, if we want."

Management from Near and Far

"I can access Phoenix POS through the store network in my office or via the Internet at home. At the store, I can set what IP address is allowed to remotely access the store network. When I'm at home, I have the security of knowing only my IP address can get into the network.

"At home, I can do anything I can at the store: reconcile a cash drawer, pull reports, do customer marketing, even monitor sales on an hourly basis. I can void transactions on an incorrect order or apply a coupon to it from home as effectively as I can at the office. Remote access was a key issue for me in buying Phoenix; it was a feature that had to work well.

"Phoenix gives us access to more information than RapidFire, which will enable us to fine tune our operation and be more efficient.

"I can get reports for any timeframe I want: sales per payroll period, or sales from Thursday through Sunday. I can even learn what kinds of beer are selling, and which aren't."

No End of Day Needed

"I like Phoenix's management capabilities. It's easy to change prices and menu items, and add coupons. The system also tells me when someone forgets to clock out. And I like the non-closing end-of-day feature, which means I don't need to pay a manager to close out. I can come in the next day and get nearly all the data I need. It saves on labor costs."

Customers, Coupons, and Communication

"Phoenix's Caller ID system is nice. When a customer calls, we simply touch the ringing phone icon to access the customer's details. Our customers will ask what they ordered last time and may re-order that same item, but change it a little bit. Phoenix makes it very easy to do.

"The delivery customer management system is very customizable. For instance, I can send a coupon to someone who ordered pepperoni twice to get a free pepperoni next time they order.

"We also send out coupons to 'lazy' customers and new customers. We even send $5-off postcards to customers who had a late delivery. To do all this I have to collect data daily, but it's easy to run queries. Phoenix POS lets you print mailing labels, too."

Driving Business Up

"Phoenix works beautifully with deliveries, which is 25 percent of our business. Drivers don't have to be logged into the system to dispatch themselves out."

Tight Control, Greater Cash Flow

"Phoenix helps us pinpoint who is giving things away. I like that everything has to go through printed tickets. And there's a report that tells who gave away discounts, how much, and when.

"Phoenix lets me set things to be available only at certain times of day. For instance, our pizza by the slice costs 50 cents less from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. This increases our cash during the slow time of day. We couldn't do that with our RapidFire system."

"The transition from RapidFire® was easy because the menus were similar. We were up and going with the best of our employees in a day or two. We only had one morning of training."
