"Phoenix and Pizza Hut: It's a Great Combination!"

In general, it's a bad to thing to have your restaurant burglarized and your point-of-sale system destroyed. Not so for Pizza Hut of Taylor, Inc., based in Payson, Ariz. When the company's Gold Canyon store was robbed and vandalized, it became an opportunity to step into the future with a new Phoenix Point-of-Sale System from FireFly Technologies.

"Last year, burglars stole some cash and destroyed our old POS system," says Doug Kreie, Sr., a partner and director of operations of the eight-store chain. "Since we couldn't replace our old system, my first instinct was to look at Pizza Hut's corporate system. But after reviewing the Phoenix system on line, I was sold. I especially liked Phoenix's ease of use and the fact that it was a touch screen.

"Phoenix provides quick and easy training and is much more reliable than our old system. We liked it so much in our Gold Canyon store, we installed it in Apache Junction and now have plans to roll out the rest of the stores by the end of the year."

"I absolutely love Phoenix's remote access feature. Our main partner in Wichita, Kansas, is in the system every day to see how we're doing. I especially like that I can access the system without reducing functionality in any way or tying up a workstation.

I also like how easy it is to add and subtract menu items. I'm not an IT guy, and I don't have to be. It's user friendly and very easy to change."
