Phoenix V1.5: Enhanced Efficiency, Delivery, and Security

With the latest updates, users enjoy many conveniences, including integrated mapping, delivery security features, quick tender keys, enhanced reporting and marketing, and more.

The latest update to the Phoenix Point-of-Sale system by FireFly Technologies marks a maturing of the software with the addition of numerous features designed to make it faster, easier, and more efficient for the user.

"With this release, Phoenix is ready for any pizza / delivery operator's needs," explains Duessa Holscher, Director of Marketing.

Order Taking & Production Efficiency

New features to enhance order taking include "Quick Tender Keys" which allow order to be completed with one touch, Default sizes, enhanced printer routing options, default order types, and much more.

Improved Reporting

The "Dashboard" view of your store gives managers a quick, up-to-the-minute status of sales and labor costs, with alerts about employees approaching overtime, late deliveries, and other areas where attention is needed.

"With the Phoenix system, our goal is to turn traditional 'information systems' upside down," said Holscher. "In the past, you had to run reports to search for the information you need. Now, the system can constantly monitor critical data and notify you when it requires your attention."

Security for Deliveries

Delivery drivers have a dangerous job, so security precautions are paramount. Phoenix 1.5 has many features designed to help protect your drivers. Integrated mapping and driving directions is one new enhancement.

"Our mapping feature makes use of internet mapping technology," said Holscher. "This ensures that the mapping data is always up-to-date with the latest information, with no maintenance or subscriptions on the part of the user."

Additional security features include required drops at pre-set limits or after each order.

Marketing Enhancements

Making money with marketing is a key reason to buy a system. Phoenix has a sophisticated marketing system that allows you to smartly target clients based on past coupon usage, including the user of specific coupons.

Another new feature is our in-store marketing feature. "One thing we've found is that pizza operators want to use marketing features, but often don't have the time to send out mailers," explained Holscher. "We've designed a perpetual marketing program that can automatically target customers with an appropriate message and print it right on the ticket, so you can ensure a repeat visit."
