Customer suggestions take prominence in new feature design & priorities

Delivery - Security is Key

With this release, we've incorporated a number of customer suggestions in our delivery area to make it as secure as possible, without compromising any speed. Now, users can specify just how much security they want on a number of delivery features, including assigning a delivery to another person.

"For example, one hole a lot of our customers have complained about in their previous POS systems, is security on driver drops. With Phoenix, you can add security controls, report on all drops made, and track who actually accepted the drop for the driver."

Manager Overrides for Speed

When security is a concern, speed can be compromised if an employee has to log off. Manager overrides on secure discounts and voids allow you to track who authorized the transaction without slowing down the order taking process.

Customer Suggestions Make it Happen

Many of the features in this release were prompted by customer suggestions," explained Holscher. "We've got a suggestion form built in right on our Manager's Home Page, so that users can easily submit their requests. These are immediately e-mailed to our development team, tracked, prioritized and scheduled for development."
