We are now hiring for:
Support Technician
Support restaurant clients with their POS hardware and software needs, over the phone. Candidate will be supporting a variety of software platforms and a working knowledge of Windows XP, DOS, and Linux is preferred.
This position offers the challenge of supporting external clients with a wide variety of hardware, network, software, internet and user training issues, as well as test and repair of returned hardware.
Assigned shift may be 6 AM - 3 PM or 12 PM - 9 PM, including one weekend day. Initial training period will require 9 AM - 6 pm shift.
The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience with software or hardware phone support.
- Strong hardware build / repair experience.
- Familiarity with Windows XP, Internet Explorer, Linux, and DOS
- Familiarity with PC hardware & networking, including router set up, a plus.
- Prior restaurant experience a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills, strong problem solving strategies, organization, the ability to work independently, prioritize and multi-task a must. Excellent follow through required.
- Physical abilities required include frequent long durations of sitting, talking on the phone, typing. Requires strong English speaking skills.
